Hey, Chris! Ok, I subscribed to the Inscribe Your Life Program several weeks ago. At the time, I was really energized and “taking the world by the tail’ and also subscribed to Longevity Now! (David Wolfe) and (from your gratitude list) the Sedona Method. Any one of these is a lot! I’ve been trying to keep up, but not well. I’m not sure just how in the Community page I communicate with you. There are so many options! However, as I catch up on the wonderful stuff you make available, I finally really listened to Fortitude. What struck me most was your quote by Echart Tolle about doing a little bit at a time and evntually you’d be doing more for longer. David says something like that. And Sedona Method says it’s OK to just drop the guilt feelings so you can feel free to move on. So, I’ll stop feeling guilt and anxiety and failure and know that all is proceeding at the pace it should. I’ll continue to enjoy what you send (and I do think about it, I almost have a beginning story written in my head) and feel that you and the community send love in a very special way. Thanks, Sally

A lot of times, I found myself telling stories to myself ! I repeat some of them to myself so many times, and they took a lot of time ; the themes vary from time to time, but I could recognize some of them:being a hero helping others ; being in distinguished social situations; taking a past event and re-narrating it in the way things should happened (ruminations);…
Sometimes,I feel tired to narrate all these stories; I wonder: what should I do with them ? should I try to stop telling them to myself (I tried to do that but fail! it seems like stories impose themselves to be said) because they make me more upset about my situation, having success only in imagination.
Some other times, I think about other alternative(inspired in this by Chris): why not changing the stories I am telling to myself, trying to find another stories, more positive and significant ?!
Thanks for your interest and comments.

@Abderrafie,
Your comments remind me of a quote from the movie Neverwas:
“Sometimes a story finds the storyteller. Not the other way around.”
Your stories are within you for a reason… it’s up to you to discover that reason and see where that takes you.

Hi Chris,
I haven’t started anything because I joined a minute ago, so I’m dutifully watching your video. So far, excellent.
My two-cents at this early-early point, is that everyone is now doing videos and I have almost come to hate videos (except that I’m aware it’s just my emotion!)! The reason for this is:
1. Videos mostly take ages to download in most parts of the world at least some of the time! My computer is new and good, my networks are quite ok, a bit slow sometimes during peak times but I live with it, but with every message coming in video, well, I have to give up on most of the messages…
2. A lot of us are wired for sound so having an audio is good enough, and faster to download..
3. Video is good to see what the speaker is like etc, but if every video shows the same scene, then for me an audio is better because it downloads faster. (Nothing to do with Chris’s good looks or manner!
4. A transcript is a great idea because later it can be referred to more easily and readily than opening a video. Personally I find I almost never watch videos more than once (if I can get to open them in the first place)unless they are step-by-step instructional videos.
5. And transcripts are so important for non-native English speakers. Accents vary infinitely and it can be hard to catch meanings, understand slang, and even just pronunciation of familiar words!
Marketers/online business people usually forget that their biggest English-speaking market are second- or third-language English speakers.
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with Chris here, but suddenly I wanted to chime in with Rafih above, and add what I’ve been annoyed with since the latest craze of video communication.
Ok, it’s ONLY because of slow downloads when I want to hurry; and ONLY because I want quick ‘re-play/study’ references like the written word! Two very big ‘ONLY’s!
Suggestion for all such things: Occasional video, so we can see how a person is aging
and mainly audio plus transcript of essential points – if not the full transcript.
A lot of videos actually show a powerpoint of essential points, but here again my problem is with video-downloading. Some squeeze pages, use video or audio, with the whole transcript. I usually just read the transcript.BUT transcriptions take time to type, so these days, video and audio are the fastest options!
Audio plus transcript is a good way for anyone to improve language usage and understanding – by hearing and reading at the same time
- and it helps the visually-wired especially, who aren’t good listeners
BUT transcriptions take time to type, so these days, video and audio are the fastest options!
Oh, while I’m at it I really do hate Teleseminars which don’t offer recordings or transcripts afterwards – most of us in the rest of the world have no hope of getting on them..
(Hey, maybe I’m gonna be good at this INscribing thing…! Chris, do you need a TRANscriber??)

Hi! Jane here! Been browsing the web site. I like what I see. And YES! I have stories inside me like you wouldn’t believe! Getting started is the tough part. Also a little scary knowing I may have to reveal some of my deep dark secrets. I know it will only make me stronger. Been seriously on a path for about 10yrs. But looking back, it has really been my goal in life. To awaken spiritually. Even as a small child, I knew there was always more than what they were telling me.
Thanks for listening.
Blessings,
JANE

This is hard and I dont really have any idea where the anwsers are reguardless of all this great information. just hurts and I want it to go away… I was happy for a little while about 2 years ago and since then everything seems like a huge struggle…

Hi Chris,
Before watching this video, I made the decision to start exercising today. Which I hate. I decided to do 1 minute, and then I’ll do another, and another. Like you said, sometimes we just need to take one step at a time and I’ll get it up to 30 minutes at a time.
Thank You…..

Chris – I really appreciated the bozo image. I watched this video immediately after an afternoon of being confronted by emails concerning writing – article marketing, blogging, fiction, etc. I have a still fuzzy idea of how I can make these things work for me (create income) while contributing to the world. I believe more sand is required. I’ll be digging! Thanks, Susan

hi chris
thank you for your informative emails, put I have something to say, that we as arab find it difficult to follow the video and understand every word mainly from the native speaker because of the accent, so I propose that it would be far better and far informative if the video message being writen first so when i listen the video it will be mre easyer.
regards
Rustom

It great to keep this all in mind. I always try to take to much on and then I can’t handle it becoming overwhelmed and quit. So I’m going to take each grain of sand at a time.

I find your video insightful though i agree with some o the comments on te time it takes to download and listen to the videos. I actually let mine play at 1st with all the breaks and stuff and replay to really hear what is been said. I do agree with your presentation today and would pay more attention to achieving this in my life. Well done and 10q.
