Hi Chris, i found this very interesting, i’ve often wondered if writing would suit me as people have told me that if i wrote a book they would love to read it & that comes from just telling them about my experience in life. i’m just going through the stage of learning to be the observer & keeping my emotion & stress under control by taking action & thinking outside of the box.. I think the trouble with making the choice to write is that i was a very slow writer at school but my thinking processes happen so fast that i found to stop & write something down was a waste of time since i could have completed it in my mind much faster, this often became the case with mathematics’ & i would look at an equation & write the answer’s without any working out & the teachers would think that i some how had a list of the answers to hand & just copied them out, this ended up making them push me to one side & label me a cheat even though i’d handed my paper’s in long before anyone else had finished. my imagination worked fine & i could create pictures to run through problems to get to the solution at lightening speed, people would come up to me with there problems & present them to me & i would come up with the solution they needed, even my son used to start with the word’s “right dad” when he spoke to me as he knew each time he asked me something i would come up with an answer that was correct or we would find out the answer together by asking question’s around the information he needed to find out about. So could i become a writer the question ponders a response? Be well,,,, Keith D.

@Keith D.,
You obviously have gifts to share with the world, and the only questions are when and in what ways.
Time will tell that tale ~ just stay curious and see what comes up for you. I think you’ll find some of the later lessons in this series (especially around lessons 6 -10) to be particularly helpful for you.

Thank you for taking the time to give the download link. I thought it was working fine till I received your email. I guess I was looking at the wrong video, that was about the coffee.
And yes, I am impressed. I certainly would like to learn how to relax and allow my creativity to flow through my pen to the paper. And maybe, one day, be a true writer who can truly share and inspire good lessons, principles or golden pieces of advise in my stories. Looking forward. God bless.

Hey, Chris!
I have to admit I’m commenting before I’ve read the PDF file. (I chose the PDF because I’m a visual learner.) Thank you for providing a transcript; most sites don’t.
I didn’t have to be convinced to follow the lessons/articles that are upcoming. I have used journaling as a tool for a very long time (I started in 7th grade and am now 50). I am still amazed that I can go back and reread an entry, and discover words and thoughts I don’t remember having looking me right in the eyes (so to speak). They are obviously from my unconscious and have led me to some wonderful places of healing and growth.
I am developing a community website with a blog that will aid people in moving on from trauma to reclaiming the rest of their lives. Obviously, I will need to write many stories, but I’ve only written for the public a couple of times when I was young. I have started to consider myself a writer though, and gain courage as I practice writing posts for the blog.
I look forward to learning from you!
Annie

Hmmmm. Where to start? Writing things down is difficult for some people. It exposes one’s innermost thoughts and feelings and leaves one open to ridicule. I wonder if that is why some write under an assumed name. I know I would.
Perhaps “writer’s block” should be called by a different name – perhaps something like “the fear block”.

Hi Chris,
Listening to your interview made me stop and think of my own writing
experience. The first thing that I wrote was my Biography, which opened my eyes to a lot about who I am – incredable findings. Then I started to write a novel I am about half way through but somehow got blocked, through problems, with survival etc. I know that I should continue, and I want to see the finish product but… after your
audio I certainly will go back to it, “because I am not a writer if I’m not writing.” Thank you so much Chris.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for sharing your knowledge in writing, i really do appreciate it.
I guess every people can write, it’s just that they fear to be judge wrongly or if they fail to express thru words the real things that they wanted to say. I really hope that i can somehow find a way to translate the feeling within me and to express it properly thru proper words.
thanks

Hi Chris,
Thank you for the audio and the transcript. I’ve always been fascinated by stories and have a tendency to immerse myself completely in the reading. I’ve attempted to write a few things and while I have had small successes, I am still fearful of that critic that’s in my head. Your audio has given me a lot to think about and hopefully I can get back to the works that I have left incomplete for so many years.
Take care.
